Hot Rod and Monster Film Festival kicks off in Seattle

The first ever Hot Rod and Monster Film Festival will take place on July 18 and July 19 at the 911 Media Arts Center at Seattle. The festival will feature hot rods, chopper, zombies, pin-up usherettes, and beer. What else can you ask for?

It is being presented by Go-Kustom Rekords & Films in coordination with Ol Skool Rodz, Car Kulture Deluxe, The Pin-Up Angels, and The Rat Bastards Car Club.

The producers are describing the festival as “a working class film celebration of grease, ink, and iron.”

“We wanted to start something that showcases films with a Kustom Kulture feel,” said D.A. Sabasstian, the festival registrar. “You know- Cult Films, Hot Rods, Zombies, Aliens, all the good stuff. We are showing many films that can’t be seen in other film festivals and that deserve to be seen on the big screen.”
